The National Book Centre of Greece and the Ministry of Culture, with the cooperation of children’ s book publishers and the Circle of the Greek Children’s Book (IBBY) is holding the 4th Children’s and Young Adults’ Book Fair. The fair will take place at HELEXPO in Maroussi from the 28th to 31st of January 2011.

During the four-day fair, children of all ages can explore the wonderful world of literature. The fair aims to arouse interest, widen horizons and attract new readers, all in a festive atmosphere that will appeal to children and adults alike.

The fair is a meeting place for writers, illustrators, publishers and other members of book industry. And it is an opportunity for visitors to take part in a wide array of cultural events and activities.

What will visitors find at the fair:

• Children’s book publishers will display their latest publications
• Children’s Corner-Young Adults’ Corner: More than 150 cultural events including theatrical and musical performances, exhibitions, workshops and seminars.
• Teachers’ and Parents’ Corner: lectures, discussions and workshops.
