Catherine Johnson
Catherine Johnson was born in London. Her father is Jamaican and her mother, Welsh. Catherine has been Writer in Residence at Holloway Prison, Royal Literary Fund Writing Fellow at the London Institute and 
has mentored writers in Africa for the British Council. Her most
books include A Nest of Vipers (2008) Corgi, and a highly praised biography of African American explorer Matthew Henson, Arctic Hero
(2008) published by Barrington Stoke. Her latest book is The Munro Inheritance (2009) Corgi, a thriller set in postwar London.
Catherine co-wrote the screenplay for the critically acclaimed film, Bullet Boy, which starred Ashley Walters from So Solid Crew, she has also written for Television.
